The U.S. men's 4x100m free relay team won gold -- Michael Phelps, Garrett Weber-Gale, Cullen Jones and Jason Lezak -- set a world record, finishing in 3:08.24.
Come on - it's takes most people longer than that to take a deep breath!!!! They were awesome!!!
The Women's Fencing team gave the U.S. its first three medals in Beijing, sweeping the women's sabre. The team consists of seven athletes, three each in sabre and foil and one in epee. Mariel Zagunis (Sabre) , Rebecca Ward (Sabre) , Sada Jacobson (Sabre) were outstanding.
And I thought I was good with pointy sticks, amazing sweep. Overall we're doing well in the medal race.
