 Flosstube 10 Year Anniversary

How it Began.

It has been 10 years since MrsMilkybarKid (Amanda) started a Mirabilia stitch along.  In 2014 she invited other cross stitchers to join her in stitching any Mirabilia.  Sticky Stitch (Aysh) felt we needed a hashtag to identify our You Tube cross stitch vidoes.  She suggested "Flosstube".  We starting tagging our Mirabilia videos with flosstube so they would be easy to find and view.

Sticky Stitch wanted cross stitchers to out number woodworking hobby videos.  I have hundreds of year end and WIP parade videos in my You Tube list this morning.  I believe we have accomplished that very thing.  Cross Stitchers have become one of the largest hobby communities on You Tube. So 10 years later I just want to say a huge thank you to MrsMilkyBarKid and Sticky Stitch for their great idea.

Sadly Aysh had to give up cross stitching, but I believe you can find her on Ravelry knitting & crocheting beautiful things. https://www.youtube.com/@stickystitch/videos

Amanda no longer creates content on You Tube but luckily left her videos on there; if you want to check her out. Her tutorials are wonderful.  https://www.youtube.com/@mrsmilkybarkid3318/videos

I will not be posting a year end video on my channel for 2023. I only completed four projects. The majority of my works in progress (wips) are baps (big assed projects). They will not be completed for years to come. I may post a WIP parade instead. Time permitting.

So to wrap it up, Happy FLOSSTUBE Anniversary Stitchers. #Flosstube #CrossStitch #StickyStitch #MrsMilkyBarKid
